Every revolution is a power stroke on this Evinrude E-TEC G2 150 H.O., which is why it jumps onto plane and answers the throttle so quickly. The engine is a 66-degree V6 running Evinrude's second-generation E-TEC direct injection, displacing 167 cubic inches (2,744 cc, 2.7L) with a 3.386 x 3.100-inch bore and stroke. Electric start, power trim and tilt, and water cooling come standard, and it's offered in 20-inch and 25-inch shaft lengths to match your transom. A high-output alternator rated 133 amps total keeps electronics charged, and the D.I. two-stroke design skips scheduled dealer maintenance for its first years.
