Overview
When you only need to keep a little cargo dry and secure, this Homesteader Intrepid 5 x 8 is about as easy as towing gets. The single-axle V-nose body offers a 56-inch-wide by 8-foot deck plus a 20-inch nose and 66 inches of interior height. Rear barn doors, 49 inches wide by 61 inches tall, swing open alongside a 32-inch side door for flexible loading. A single 3,500 lb EZ-Lube spring axle on 205/75R15 tires carries the 2,990 lb GVWR, and 3/8-inch plywood walls line the steel frame. It's ideal for light cargo behind small tow vehicles. This used unit carries a clean title, includes a spare tire, and has a good 3/4-inch plywood floor.
