Light, tidy and easy to tow, this 2016 Shadow two-horse slant-load bumper pull comes from a Pennsylvania builder with a name for durable aluminum trailers. The aluminum body resists rust and keeps overall weight low, so it pulls comfortably behind a half-ton or 3/4-ton truck. Two horses ride at an angle behind a slant divider, with a front tack area for saddles and supplies. Drop-down windows, a side escape door and roof vents keep the interior bright and well-ventilated, and rubber mats cushion the floor. It rolls on two 3,500 lb axles with electric brakes for a GVWR around 7,000 lb. The trailer carries a clean title, comes with a spare tire and a good floor, and we've inspected it carefully ahead of freight delivery.
