E-TEC G2 built on a 74-degree V6 that displaces 3,441 cc (3.4L) across six cylinders, using E-TEC direct-injection two-stroke combustion to fire on every revolution. It carries a 20-inch (L) shaft, electric start, and power tilt and trim, while a 133-amp total (50-amp net) alternator keeps electronics and batteries charged on long days out. The direct-injection design skips scheduled dealer maintenance and delivers the kind of instant hole-shot that repowering anglers and offshore boaters look for.
