Overview
When top-end speed is the goal, Yamaha's V MAX SHO answers, and this pre-owned VF250XB is tuned exactly for that. The 60-degree V6 displaces 4,169 cc (4.2L) through a DOHC 24-valve powerhead with EFI and a long-track intake, producing 250 horsepower in a 5,300 to 6,300 rpm band. It rides a 25-inch (XL) shaft, weighs about 505 lb, and pushes 90 amps of charging for well-equipped bass and bay rigs. The SHO tune gives it the hole-shot and speed tournament anglers demand.
