Overview
Topping Yamaha's inline-four SHO lineup, the pre-owned 2018 Yamaha VF175 V MAX SHO is built for anglers who want speed without the weight. It shares the 2.8-liter (2785 cc) DOHC 16-valve inline-four powerhead with Variable Camshaft Timing and electronic fuel injection, tuned here to 175 horsepower for standout acceleration on bass and bay boats. The rig includes electric start, power trim and tilt, a 20-inch long shaft and 50-amp charging, turning through 1.86:1 gearing to a 5,300-6,300 rpm range at 489 lb.
