Overview
Big-bore power and light weight come together in this 2018 Yamaha VF250 VMAX SHO. The 250 HP four-stroke is built on a 4,169cc 4.2L 60-degree V6 with DOHC 24-valve heads and electronic fuel injection, engineered for a hard hole-shot and strong top-end without the heft of comparable engines. Set up as a 20-inch VF250LA (with 25-inch also offered) at about 505 pounds, it carries electric start, power trim, and a 50-amp maximum alternator.
