Finished in Evinrude's Graphite color package, the E150DGX carries a 25-inch shaft and the same 2,589 cc (2.6L) 60-degree V6 that has made these motors a favorite for hard-charging hole-shots. Because the direct-injection two-stroke fires on every revolution, it responds instantly to the throttle and gets a loaded hull up on plane in a hurry. The engine weighs roughly 419 lb, spins a 2.00:1 gear ratio, and includes electric start plus power trim.
