Configured for counter rotation with a 25-inch shaft, it's meant for the offside of a twin-engine offshore rig where balanced steering and even torque matter. The design pushes strong torque and clean, efficient running, and a 133-amp total (50-amp net) alternator keeps electronics and accessories fed.
