Overview

Built to move heavy boats, this 2022 Mercury 100 HP Command Thrust pairs torque with a purpose-built gearcase. The FourStroke runs a 2,064cc inline-four with a DOHC 16-valve head and electronic fuel injection, while the Command Thrust package adds a larger 4.8-inch gearcase and a lower 2.38:1 ratio to turn bigger propellers. On a 20-inch long shaft at roughly 363 pounds with electric start and power trim and tilt, it excels at pushing pontoons, heavy aluminum boats, and loaded fishing rigs. The extra grip means better acceleration and control under a full load. We inspect every engine and ship it freight-ready.
