Overview
Yamaha does something clever with its 50, and this pre-owned F50HETL is the result. Rather than a three-cylinder, it uses a compact inline four-cylinder, 996 cc SOHC powerhead with multi-point EFI that stays about as light as smaller motors while running notably smooth and quiet. It is rigged as a 20-inch long shaft with electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 16-amp alternator, weighing about 253 lb. The extra cylinder gives it a refined feel that owners of pontoons and aluminum boats appreciate. Inspected and crated, it ships freight nationwide.
