Overview

Serious offshore power is what the pre-owned Suzuki DF250 is about. This 250-horsepower V6 four-stroke is built on the 3614 cc (3.6 L) 55-degree DOHC 24-valve powerhead with multi-point electronic fuel injection, and an offset driveshaft with two-stage gear reduction lets the big-bore V6 swing a large-diameter prop and pull hard to a 5,500-6,100 rpm range. It's rigged as an extra-long 25-inch shaft with electric start, power trim and tilt and 54-amp charging, weighing around 600 lb. Larger consoles, offshore hulls and heavier boats are its natural territory. We've inspected this Suzuki and can crate it for freight anywhere in the lower 48.
