Overview

Compact and quick off the line, the Suzuki DF90A punches above its size. This 90 HP four-stroke uses a light 1,502cc inline-four with a DOHC 16-valve head and multi-point sequential EFI, and Suzuki's offset driveshaft with 2.59:1 two-stage reduction lets it turn a bigger prop for strong acceleration. At about 348 pounds with electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 40-amp alternator, it pulls through a 5,000 to 6,000 rpm range and can be run with remote or tiller control. It's a fuel-conscious fit for bay boats, pontoons, and aluminum hulls. Inspected and freight-delivered.
