Overview
The MFS30D is Tohatsu's newest take on the 30, and this pre-owned example brings the latest refinements. Its 526 cc three-cylinder EFI powerhead is tuned for crisp acceleration, quiet operation, and reliable choke-free cold starts. Rigged as a 20-inch long shaft with electric start and power trim and tilt, it weighs roughly 166 lb, turns a 1.92:1 gearcase, and runs a 5,500 to 6,000 rpm range with 18 amps of charging. It is a dependable, efficient primary for aluminum boats, tenders, and small skiffs. We inspect every motor and ship it freight nationwide.
