Overview
In the ETL configuration, this Tohatsu MFS115A pairs big-displacement smoothness with a clean-running EFI system. The 115 HP four-stroke uses a 2,231cc 16-valve inline-four, and electronic fuel injection means easier cold starts, cleaner running, and lower fuel use than a carbureted engine. It rides a 20-inch long shaft at about 392 pounds with electric start and power trim and tilt, turning a 2.15:1 gearcase to a 5,000 to 6,000 rpm range.
