Big displacement is a real advantage down low, and the pre-owned Tohatsu MFS50A leans into it. This 50-horsepower four-stroke runs a 998 cc in-line three-cylinder EFI powerhead, among the largest in the 50-horse class, so it makes easy low-end torque and gets boats up on plane without drama. Dual intake valves and electronic fuel injection handle cold starts and idle cleanly, and the motor carries electric start, power trim and tilt, a 20-inch long shaft and 22-amp charging. At only 212 lb it's a light, capable repower for aluminum boats and small consoles. Our team has inspected it and we ship nationwide by freight.
