Overview
Keeping weight off the transom matters on smaller boats, and the pre-owned Yamaha 40 HP EFI is one of the lightest 40-horse four-strokes going at roughly 214 lb. This F40 runs a 747 cc in-line three-cylinder SOHC powerhead with multi-point electronic fuel injection, so starts are dependable and the idle stays smooth and quiet. It comes with electric start, power tilt, a 20-inch long shaft and 16-amp charging. That light weight and clean fuel injection make it an ideal repower for tiller skiffs, jon boats and small aluminum rigs. We've inspected it in the shop and can ship it out on a freight pallet.
