Overview

Quiet cruising and easy planing come standard on the pre-owned Yamaha F50. It borrows the same 996 cc (1.0 L) inline-four SOHC eight-valve four-stroke as the F60 and tunes it to 50 horsepower with electronic fuel injection, so you get four-cylinder smoothness rare at this rating. A 1.85:1 gear ratio and a 5,000-6,000 rpm operating range keep it relaxed, and it's equipped with electric start, power trim and tilt, a 20-inch long shaft and 16-amp charging at about 247 lb. It's an ideal repower for pontoons and small fishing hulls that value a hushed ride. We've inspected this motor and can ship it out on a freight pallet.
